Trying a Blackhead Peel (so painful!)

I was given a discount to try the Magiforet Blackhead Peel Off Mask. I was so excited because I’ve seen so many videos of people trying charcoal peels to remove blackheads.

I have tried a different charcoal peel before. It had a lot of steps which were kind of confusing to follow and I don’t think I did it right. The Magiforet peel was much simpler to use.

There are two steps. The first is the Blackhead Remover Mask, which you smear evenly wherever you want to remove blackheads. Be sure to avoid your mouth, eyes and eyebrows. Just putting it on my face, I could smell how toxic this is, so you definitely don’t want it getting too close to your mouth.

Once you have it on, wait for it to dry. The bottle says to wait 15-20 minutes, but I just waited until it was dry (okay, I got bored and took it off when it was still wet in spots).

When it’s dry, you just peel it off. This is the part that hurts. It actually didn’t hurt as much as I was expecting it to, but it was still pretty painful.

When you have it off as much as you can get it, use warm water to scrub whatever’s left off.

The last step is rose hydrosol spray. It’s a soothing spray that smells so good. You just spray it on and pat it into your skin.

The Magiforet Blackhead Peel did a much better job at removing my blackheads than the peel I had tried previously. It was also less work since there are only two items involved, so you just put the mask on, peel it off, and put the rose hydrosol spray on.
